Enchanted Forest Diamond Candle Review and Giveaway!

The new "thing" right now seems to Diamond Candles, have you heard of them? Well they are a soy based candle with a ring inside that is worth anywhere from $10-$5000. Diamond Candle graciously sent me one to review for you guys!

I was seriously waiting on pins and needles for this candle to come in the mail. When it arrived, i couldn't get it open fast enough! I could smell it as soon as i opened the box, which is obviously a good sign! Enchanted Forest is the scent they sent, perfect for Halloween time. It has a really floral kind of earthy scent if that makes any sense. I wasn't too fond of it at first, but after it burns for a few minutes it gets immensely better.

On the side of the candle, you can see the marker to tell you exactly where the ring is. Mine was about an inch down, and i knew that since soy candles burn so much slower(makes your candle last longer!) it would be awhile before i got to my prize. Thank goodness i was busy, or i probably would of ruined the candle trying to dig it out! After about 7 hours it still wasn't burned down to the ring, but since the wax was melted down a good ways, i was able to pull it out with tweezers!

The ring comes wrapped in a small zipper baggie covered with gold foil. The wax around it was still pretty hot so i peeled it open with my tweezers. The ring is beautiful. I was expecting to get an ugly piece of costume jewelry. The inside of the band is unmarked, so I'm assuming its probably the $10 ring, but I'm going to get it appraised just to be sure.
